CHAPTER SIX

Betty became even more distant and Pam spoke to Richard about it.

“Why don’t you two girls go out to dinner and talk,” he said one morning as he dressed for work. “Get a few drinks into her and maybe she’ll loosen up. I know my sister and once she knows you she’ll love you as much as I do, honey.”

Pam lay in bed and toyed with her nipples. “Do you really think so?” she said.

“It’s worth a try,” he said, fixing his tie. “Especially since it looks like she’s not moving.”

Pam shrugged. “Yeah, she spent one week reading want-ads and that was the end of the job-hunting.”

“Have some sympathy,” he said. He moved to the bed and lay a twenty-dollar bill on the night table. “Take her to a real nice place, honey. Here’s same money. I’ve got some new prospect calls to make tonight so I’ll be home late anyway.”

She fingered the bill and stuffed it into a drawer. “I’ll try it for your sake,” she said. “But I don’t have much hope that it’ll work.”

When Richard left the house, Pam rose up from the bed and showered. Then she dressed and made up and went downstairs for coffee.

Betty was sitting at the kitchen table sipping coffee and reading the newspaper. She wore a shortie robe and Pam noticed for the first time that Betty had really lovely long legs.

She poured herself some coffee and sat down next to the blonde. She suddenly thought about the few times she’d fooled around with women and her pussy creamed. It had only happened half a dozen times when she was very young, but the memory still turned her on.

Then she asked Betty to have dinner with her that evening. “Just the two of us,” she said. “Richard’s working late and the kids can fend for themselves.”

“Why?” Betty said coldly.

“I think we should spend some time together,” Pam said. “And so does Richard.”

“Was this his idea?”

“Well, yes, as a matter of fact.”

“Then I’ll do it,” she said, and Pam breathed a sigh of relief.

The rest of the day was taken up with the usual household chores. Pam left some cold cuts for the kids’ dinner and at six o’clock went upstairs to change.

“Wear something nice,” she smiled at Betty as she passed her room. “Show your pretty figure,” she said and Betty actually returned the smile.

Pam had made reservations at one of the nicer restaurants in town. Now she changed to a simple black dress and high heeled black sandals. She felt giddy and excited and she didn’t know why. She was only having dinner with her sister-in-law. And the woman hated her. Then she remembered Betty’s legs and lovely pear-shaped tits and she blushed.

She grabbed her purse and left the room. Evil thoughts, she giggled to herself. I’ve got to keep those evil thoughts out of my mind.

They arrived at the dimly lit restaurant and sank down into a booth. Pam ordered two daiquiris and gulped hers down. She felt the warmth of the booze drift down to her cunt and ordered seconds.
